Country Garden Wedding Couple
On a beautiful sunny day, on May 26th, 2018, Travis and Brianne became Mr. and Mrs. Little at a private estate in Oakdale, CA. Their classic country garden wedding was like a Martha Stewart wedding cut out from a magazine combine with a country flare. The green bushes and the white flowers were the perfect backdrop to the navy and blush pink colors of the Little’s wedding party.
Unplanned Baby
I was not personally hired by Travis and Brianne to film their wedding. There was actually another videographer who was hired by the couple. The videographer was booked far enough in advance for her not to know that she was pregnant. Her due date was around the same time as Travis and Brianne’s wedding and did not know if she would be up to filming before or after the baby (plus this was her first baby!).
Being that the wedding was couple months away and I felt for the situation, I offered my services to videograph the wedding in such a short notice. Thankfully, there was enough time to prep my team, plan the timeline, and create vision for the wedding day to make sure that everything in our power is as smooth as possible.
Another Wedding Perspective
Becoming a bride is every girl’s dream- to walk down the aisle to their man that she finally gets to call husband. Now there so many moments within that one moment to look out for: seeing the bride’s face, groom’s face, parents’ faces, etc. After attending multiple weddings, it is easy to forget the feelings associated for everyone involved in the wedding and not just the bride.
So whatever stage of life you are in, I would highly encourage you to keep an eye on that person at the next wedding you are attending (ie: single woman- bride, single man – groom, father- dads, mother- moms) and put yourself in their shoes. How is that person feeling at this moment? The father giving their daughter away to another man as her provider and protector. The mother who is seeing her son become a man of his own household and how proud she is. The groom who is watching his bride walk down- breath-taking.
