The stunning view of Forest House Lodge’s ceremony site was the perfect setting to witness the heartfelt exchanging of vows between Justin and Amy and from Justin to his new son, Brandon. Looking around at the faces of Amy and Justin’s family and friends, there were tears of joy streaming out of everyone’s eyes. It had been a while since I’ve seen such an overwhelming response from all the guests. It was a true bless for Karissa Wright Productions to be a part of Justin and Amy’s wedding day by capturing their wedding video.
Forest House Lodge
To be honest, I did not look up the venue beforehand- but as soon as I got there I was blown away with how amazing this spot in the middle of Sierra Mountains is. The owner and staff of Forest House Lodge really has this place down with the basement bridal suite and groomsmen’s lounge/game room. What makes it special alone is how large the area. Now days, wedding parties seem to average 8-10 couples making the getting ready areas very important to couples wanting not feel claustrophobic while getting their hair and makeup done. The guys on the other hand had a HUGE area to get ready in- including various arcade activities such as a pool table and air hockey table. The whole area actually turns into an after party area for guests after the open dancing ends. How cool is that?!
A mile and a half down the road from the venue is Forest House Lodge’s property access to a private view of the Sierra Mountains. This was a sight I was not executive to see. It was even better than looking at magazine!! The Grand Sierra Pointe gave everyone a sense of awe and grandness to the commitment and begins of a life journey about to be made.
